Bolton Valley Sports Center vert ramp — closed
Closed: Bolton Valley’s indoor skatepark and vert ramp are gone. The resort’s official closure announcement named October 22, 2023 as the park’s final day and said deconstruction would begin in the following weeks. The former Sports Center is now Ralph’s Rec Center and no longer lists skateboarding.
Holden Barth, who runs Vermont Skateparks, reported on October 28, 2025 that there were no public vert ramps left in Vermont and no known public ramps in the planning pipeline.
Historical information
The indoor skatepark opened around 2018 and offered a progression from a micro mini ramp and mini ramp to a bowl and vert ramp. In 2019 it added features acquired after Burlington’s Talent Skatepark closed.
I found a nice little vert ramp in Richmond, Vermont, at Bolton Valley Resort. It’s like 9 or 10 feet, I’m guessing. — Cody Griffin
